Where we work
Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. 

This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the Denver or Austin office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

About your skills 
  • Digital acquisition: You have proven experience running paid search and content syndication campaigns and managing digital acquisition programs, taking ownership of pipeline and channel targets, driving execution, and adjusting tactics to hit or exceed goals. You and your team will be responsible for continuing our growth!
  • Analytics & optimization: You’re skilled at defining KPIs, monitoring performance across campaigns and channels, identifying trends or gaps, and using data to inform strategy and improve performance. You have a proven track record of delivering strong ROAS and driving measurable B2B pipeline impact.
  • Collaboration: You build strong partnerships across teams, aligning stakeholders around shared goals, influencing across functions, and driving the successful execution of campaigns that contribute to broader media and marketing strategies.
  • Coaching: You lead with empathy and clarity, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture while actively developing your direct reports’ skills, holding them accountable, and empowering them to deliver their best work and achieve their career goals.

About this role
The Digital Demand Generation Manager will lead a team focused on driving pipeline growth for Udemy Business through paid search and emerging digital channels. This is both a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll set clear goals, own performance targets, and partner closely with teams across the organization to maximize conversion outcomes. With responsibility for shaping our digital programs, this role is critical to how Udemy Business reaches new customers and scales growth.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2 paid search specialists while directly contributing to campaign strategy and execution.
  • Build and evolve the digital acquisition roadmap, aligning with demand generation strategy and exploring opportunities for channel expansion. 
  • Own pipeline and performance targets, defining KPIs and turning insights into optimizations.
  • Partner with web development, paid social, campaign managers, media planning, marketing operations, and other functions to deliver work that is high-quality, on-time, and optimized for conversions.
  • Foster a culture of testing and experimentation, continuously piloting new approaches to improve efficiency and impact.

What you’ll have
  • 8-10 years of digital marketing experience with proven expertise in paid search. Additional experience in content syndication, web, paid social, SEO, and other channels is a plus.
  • 2+ years of people management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven success driving measurable B2B pipeline through digital channels.
  • Experience building roadmaps, defining KPIs, and leveraging analytics to guide optimization strategies.
  • Practical experience using digital marketing platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Google Analytics.
  • Capable of guiding a team while contributing to the planning and execution of high-impact work in a fast-moving environment.
