The Enterprise Applications Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Enterprise Applications and team including product ownership, architecture, and team management. Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and services for the departments served.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Managing a team of IT professionals by setting clear performance goals, conducting regular feedback sessions, and recognizing team members who demonstrate initiative and proactive problem-solving.
- Managing relationship with vendors and other service providers as appropriate, including supervision of external contractors
- Serving as Product Owner of our Enterprise Applications for our internal customers. Managing Roadmap, resource allocation, and planning
- Leading the systems integration of acquired companies, including requirements gathering, systems design, data transformation, data migration, and related business planning for enterprise applications areas. Coordinating with business groups to execute on transition dates, training plans, cutoff requirements, etc
- Managing Agile process for development and standardized development lifecycle
- Mentoring teams and enforces best practices, including data governance, security controls, and overall platform maintenance
- Actively involved in user community of enterprise applications used at Relias to advocate and self-educate on enterprise apps, features, and functionality. Keeps current on available releases, technologies, and applications
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
- 4+ years experience in SaaS enterprise applications as a manager, product owner or analyst.
- 3+ years of business analysis, or experience in building business requirements.
- 4+ years in project management, preferably Agile or certification.
- 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
- Proven leadership in managing enterprise SaaS applications, with emphasis on financial, ERP, and reporting systems (e.g., Intacct, Oracle, Workiva, Anaplan, Coupa).
- Deep understanding of financial consolidation and SEC reporting platforms — including configuration, integration, and maintenance of systems such as Workiva Connected Reporting and Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS).
- Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and FP&A teams to translate regulatory reporting, SOX, and GAAP/IFRS requirements into technology solutions.
- Experience managing system integrations and data flows across ERP, consolidation, and disclosure management tools to ensure accuracy, auditability, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, internal controls, and audit-readiness requirements for private and public-company reporting environments.
- Expertise in release management, sandbox management, and automated testing frameworks within enterprise SaaS ecosystems.
- Familiarity with change management processes supporting dual-GAAP or multi-book reporting environments.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills, including oversight of implementation partners and third-party consultants for system deployments.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, staying current with financial reporting technologies and emerging regulatory compliance tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or technology

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 40 days/quarter.
