Job Description Summary


Organization's Summary Statement:
This position performs professional-level work providing day-to-day coordination for the functions and responsibilities of human resources administration and professional development training. Coordinates support for core human resources administration functions. 
Research issues to find a resolution. 
Provides metrics to leadership. 
Manages a team of professional and support staff. 
Other duties as assigned.

Preferences: N/A

Physical Demands: General office duties and tasks, may need to occasionally lift boxes with
papers and other documents, up to 20lbs. This is primarily sedentary work.
Repetitive typing motions are involved. Work is conducted in both office environments and on-campus buildings, requiring the ability to travel throughout the campus. While the position is not physically demanding, the incumbent must be able to perform well under strict deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Three (3) years of professional human resources experience. One (1) year leading or supervising professional staff. Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education. Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, and federal, state, and other applicable human resources related laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances.Skill in oral and written communication.Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products. Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
