Marketing Strategy
The Manager, MarTech Strategy will play a pivotal role in aligning marketing technology with customer-focused business strategy. This position demands a unique blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric mindset. The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-driven, and possess excellent project and product management skills to oversee successful initiatives that bridge multiple customer data and marketing technologies. The role includes administration of Pearson’s global marketing tools and joint ownership of the marketing technology roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Technology Strategy & Integration -Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns marketing technology with customer-centric initiatives, ensuring seamless integration across customer platforms, channels, and touchpoints. Manage and oversee the Marketing Technology Roadmap and deliver new capabilities to the business.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management -Collaborateclosely with cross-functional teams, including customer support, marketing, and IT, to understand business needs and deliver integrated technology solutions, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Technology Platform Management - Lead the integration and configuration of the marketing technology tools with the existing systems and platforms. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or problems with the marketing technology tools and processes.
  • Data Management & Customer Insights - Jointly oversee the management of customer data, ensuring data accuracy and privacy compliance, and surface new insights to help drive effective personalized and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Train and Support - Onboard marketing and sales teams to the global Martech stack and provide training on how to use the marketing technology tools more effectively.
  • Performance Measurement - Establish and monitor KPIs to assess and improve the effectiveness of customer and marketing technology initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, information technology, or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in marketing technology, digital marketing, or marketing operations
  • Proficient in various marketing technology tools and platforms, such as CDP, marketing automation, preference center & customer profile management, web analytics, social media, content management, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing processes, strategies, and metrics
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project and people management skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Passionate about marketing technology, customer data and innovation
