Manager, Talent Acquisition & Communications Full Description

The Manager, Talent Acquisition & Communications, will oversee recruitment strategy and support crafting People Team communications that attract, support, and connect talent inside and outside the organization. Core responsibilities include directing the talent acquisition lifecycle, maintaining a consistent employer brand, driving innovative recruiting strategies, and producing impactful internal communications in partnership with the People Team.

Roles & Responsibilities - Talent Acquisition
  • Directly manage and actively engage in a high-performing recruitment process for all US-based roles
  • Collaborate with leaders to assess talent needs, mission critical-requirements, and role descriptions. 
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing best practices and resources
  • Execute on new hire onboarding process within the HRIS
  • Drive innovative recruitment techniques, including expanding into social networking communities, to maintain a robust talent pipeline
  • Maintain and continuously evaluate strategic talent acquisition methods, strategies, and procedures, identifying areas for improvement
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, laws, and regulations to ensure organizational compliance and data integrity

Roles & Responsibilities - Communications
  • Maintain our employer brand, creating and maintaining materials that effectively communicate the company's value proposition from job description through offboarding
  • Draft, edit, and distribute People Team communications (emails, Slack messages, guides, announcements) to ensure consistent tone, clarity, and employee engagement
  • Partner with People Team members to translate complex HR programs, policies, and initiatives into clear, employee-friendly communications
  • Foster strong relationships internally and deliver consistent results in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

You have:
  • 3-5 years of professional experience, with 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, and strong demonstrated experience in employee or organizational communications 
  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing, editing, presentation, and stakeholder management, with the ability to engage audiences at all levels
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications/experience in business, communications, or a related area
  • Critical and analytical thinking skills with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
  • Proficient in various technology platforms and other related software; Lever and UKG Ready experience is a plus! 
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment
