We are seeking a Marketing Campaign Executive to join our global Marketing team. This permanent role is based in Chennai, expanding our Cell Press Marketing presence in India. It offers the opportunity to own a broad portfolio spanning digital marketing, platform management, conference logistics, and operational support within a high-performing international organization.

About the Role
The Marketing Campaign Executive is a key member of the Cell Press Marketing team, supporting the delivery of digital marketing campaigns across a portfolio of leading scientific journals. Working closely with Marketing Managers and the Senior Campaign Executive, you will help coordinate campaign execution, maintain digital content, support social media activity, and manage operational processes that enable the team to deliver high-quality marketing initiatives at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Support the deployment of email and digital marketing campaigns across the Cell Press journal portfolio
  • Coordinate campaign scheduling and bookings with centralised deployment teams
  • Prepare and proof campaign assets, including email content and supporting creative materials
  • Set up and execute campaigns within email marketing platforms
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and compliance before deployment
  • Compile campaign performance data to support reporting and optimisation by Marketing Managers
  • Maintain and update content on Cell Press digital platforms, including cell.com
  • Manage Events and Announcements, ensuring timely and accurate publication
  • Schedule and traffic organic social media posts across Cell Press channels
  • Coordinate conference collateral ordering, shipping, and customs documentation
  • Raise and manage purchase orders within agreed SLAs
  • Manage expense reports and maintain accurate financial tracking records
  • Manage the [email protected] inbox, triaging and routing inquiries to resolution

Requirements
  • Must be available to work in the 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift to support business requirements.
  • Experience in digital marketing, marketing coordination, or operational role
  • Experience working with email marketing platforms or CMS systems
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate content across channels
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Project management skills, with experience developing and tracking plans and timelines
  • Experience with financial processes such as purchase orders, invoicing, or expense management, or the ability to learn these quickly
  • Clear written communication and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools is advantageous
  • Experience in scholarly publishing is advantageous but not required
  • A proactive approach to identifying and flagging risks before they escalate
