Marketing & Engagement Coordinator Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting visually stunning publications? Are you proficient in coordinating marketing logistics for significant student-focused events and initiatives? Are you adept at creating engaging content for digital platforms and social media using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator? Are you able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams?
The Marketing & Engagement Coordinator plays a crucial role in promoting the programs, services, and mission of the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support (SAAS). This position entails leading marketing campaigns, providing strategic event support, and fostering campus-wide engagement among staff and students. By working closely with both campus and external partners, the coordinator ensures a cohesive and unified presence for the division.
Collaborate with the project manager and internal stakeholders to coordinate and carry out marketing ticket requests. Coordinate marketing logistics for major student-focused events and initiatives. Serve as the lead for all New Student Orientation Resource Fairs, including coordination of staffing, logistics, and promotional materials. Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise student workers and graduate assistants who support marketing and outreach efforts. Oversee inventory, place orders as needed and, coordinate the timely distribution of materials for events and campaigns. Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications | Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field and 2 years or more experience in managing marketing campaigns and projects of moderate to large complexity.
• Supervisory experience with student workers or interns.
• Experience in a higher education or student affairs setting.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Strong project management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple deadlines effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite in podcast production tools/software considered a plus.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for key events.
