| Advertised Job Summary | The Marketing and Events Specialist is a professional position in the Education Abroad Office. The Marketing and Events Specialist performs a variety of duties in support of marketing, communications, and the recruitment of students to take part in education abroad opportunities. As a staff member in a high traffic, multi-function office this position also manages the Office’s web and social media presence, special functions and events, and additional responsibilities as assigned. |

| Job Duty | Outreach and Event Management: Creates and manages office-wide student recruitment plan(s). Gathers and maintains data related to the effectiveness of recruitment activities. Identifies new avenues for recruitment of students. Develops and manages targeted outreach plans for special programs, including exchange programs, instructor-led programs, and similar strategic priorities. Manages the Education Abroad Fair and coordinates the EAO’s participation in U101, New Student Orientation, and USC Admissions events. Coordinates and/or provides support for additional events throughout the year. |
