SUMMARY:
The Marketing Specialist is a well-rounded individual who not only has a basic understanding of digital marketing best practices but is also comfortable being involved in both quantitative and qualitative marketing initiatives. They should have an innate curiosity to continually investigate new trends and disruptive approaches to improve the company’s acquisition results. This role will support several digital channels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Hands-on optimization of paid display and organic/paid search for the Stride Tutoring B2C business on multiple platforms including Google Display Network, Google/Bing Ads, and Google Search Console
- Aid in backlinking efforts for offsite SEO by proactively reaching out to potential partner sites, bloggers, and monitoring journalist citation networks like HARO for opportunities.
- Execute research into marketing software & platforms that may be required to monitor our advertising performance, our competitor’s advertising performance, or improve our creative efforts.
- Build a high volume of landing pages for paid search, display, and email marketing segmented by audience target, using Unbounce and conduct iterative A/B testing.
- Monitor, analyze and optimize campaign performance data to improve conversion rates, decrease cost per lead/acquisition, increase ROI, grow volume and budgets, and reach business objectives.
- Support the Director of Marketing, Demand Generation on execution of digital strategy across platforms and all lines of business utilizing the latest technologies and best practices.
- Track spend pacing daily across multiple channels to ensure the marketing department remains in compliance with budgeted monthly advertising.
- Regularly report on multi-channel & website performance in shared spreadsheets by merging data from multiple sources including Google Ads, Meta Ads, Campaign Monitor, Google Analytics, & our back-end database.
- Create and/or review email marketing templates created by agency vendors, for use in batch or drip automation initiatives to leads and customers, segmented by varying audience types using Campaign Monitor.
- Conduct internal audience research and provide support to external research vendors as needed to assist in identifying/understanding target audience segments, behaviors, & insights.
- Troubleshoot website and marketing communications for potential messaging or technical issues and escalate when identified.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four (4) years of digital marketing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with eCommerce/B2C growth environment
- Hands-on paid media experience (Agency experience a plus).
- Proven track record of success and driving efficient growth in paid search & display.
- Intermediate proficiency+ in Microsoft Office products.
- Intermediate proficiency+ in Google Ads, Meta Ads, & Campaign Monitor (or comparable ESP)
- Salesforce and Shopify experience preferred.
- Desire for continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to clear required background check.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency and follow-through and resourcefulness/entrepreneurial.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to build strong working relationships.

Compensation & Benefits:
- We anticipate the salary range to be $49,900 to $99,000. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
