Role & Responsibilities 

As a Master Teacher Fellow at Bold Charter School, you will build a deep understanding of Bold’s instructional model and work to achieve goals related to academic mastery, learning readiness, and family partnership. You will work closely with Bold’s leadership team, developing as a model for instructional excellence and impact at Bold. You will monitor and drive progress toward shared team and organizational priorities, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and growth, creating a culture of learning that invests students, families, and the team in shared goals. 


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Bold’s mission, vision, and values and how they guide our work
  • Drive high academic outcomes for all students; effectively analyze data, study student work, respond to trends, and implement high leverage instructional strategies that ensure all students achieve their learning goals
  • Train with colleagues and school leaders; modeling instructional and team performance standards across the team 
  • Develop strong relationships with families and students, including regular communication that creates high levels of investment in school culture and academics
  • Demonstrate a mission-first mindset to ensure all decisions and actions are rooted in ensuring that all students excel

Qualifications

  • 4+ years lead teaching experience in a high-performing K-12 setting
  • Demonstrated experience leading students and teams to high levels of performance
  • Bachelor’s degree with an outstanding record of achievement and leadership, advanced degree and certification preferred

Compensation

Bold Charter School offers highly competitive compensation, in the top 3% of comparable positions across New York City charter schools. The salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
