Math Assessment Reviewer (Freelance) Full Description

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking experienced educators to review the content of a new high school math assessment. The review should take about 7-8 hours per high school course reviewed and can be completed flexibly from home. You may review as many courses as you are qualified to.

This is a remote, 1099 consulting role for one month. #LI-REMOTE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Review achievement level descriptors outlining what the assessment will cover to ensure they are aligned to and appropriate for each course: Algebra 1, Geometry, or Algebra 2
  • Review assessment items to ensure they accurately measure student performance on each descriptor

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree or teaching certification required
  • At least 5 years of high school math teaching experience
  • Experience teaching traditional Algebra 1, Geometry, or Algebra 2 courses
  • Prior experience writing or reviewing large-scale assessments is a plus

The pay rate is $300 per completed course.
