  • Model lessons
  • Co-plan lessons and units with teachers
  • Co-teach lessons
  • Provide real-time coaching
  • Analyze data and run data talks
  • Provide professional development for teachers, departments, grade levels and school
  • Support teachers in setting goals and developing action plans for success
  • Participate on the school leadership team
  • Develop teacher comprehension of curriculum materials
  • Support teachers with tracking student learning and record keeping
  • Provide lesson plan support with targeted and specific feedback
  • Provide targeted and specific observation feedback
  • Assist teachers in identifying and acquiring resources
  • Assist teachers with assessment development
  • Support administrators with diagnosing school-wide problems and develop action plans for success r Support content departments with diagnosing problems and develop action plans for success
  • Coach teacher leaders, department chairs and curriculum coordinators
  • Develop curriculum for school, departments and grade levels
 
Qualifications: 
  • Experience in the role preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Successful completion of the Praxis II Exam 
  • Three years of teaching experience and results demonstrating high student achievement and significant growth
  • At least one year of Academic Coaching in Math

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in mathematics or math-related field
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and above
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and/or continuing education
  • Two years of teaching experience and results demonstrating high student achievement and significant growth
