Overview

Qualifications

What we’ll need from you:
The positive, enthusiastic assistant teacher we seek has these qualifications.

Bachelor's degree in education, Mathematics, or a related field (master's preferred).
Valid Mississippi teaching certification.
Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience in mathematics (elementary, middle, or high school level).
Prior instructional coaching or teacher leadership experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of math content standards (Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards for Mathematics).
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel between partner schools within the region.
