Functional Responsibilities:Support students in a one-to-one, small-group, drop-in, or online tutoring format(s) to provide learning assistance in mathematics. Tutor students in basic computer literacy to include accessing student email, creating and saving documents and other file types, and navigating Canvas. Assist students in building high-impact study strategies and leveraging academic resources to promote course success. Participate in team meetings, tutor-training sessions, and professional development training. Partner with instructors to offer outreach-learning opportunities in the classroom and team up to offer course-relevant workshops. Maintain familiarity with campus resources available to students. Create supplementary learning materials, handouts, and resources tailored to student needs. Demonstrate patience, encouragement, and empathy to students having difficulty. Assist with additional duties as assigned. May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
