  • Experience developing robust backend services, APIs, and databases with testing and debugging to ensure software quality.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment are a plus.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture is advantageous.

Working as part of the Global CRM team, the successful candidate provide hands-on support to our internal business units spanning Higher Education, Schools, and International. What can you expect from the position? 

 

 

Work on assigned tickets within agreed SLA adhering to defined development process

  • Requirements are clear and ticket outcome defined
  • Code follows best-practice, scalable and maintainable

 

Create or update documentation to enhance/strengthen future development/support

  • Minimizes misunderstandings and mitigates defects
  • Knowledge sharing within the team, and a reference for subsequent development

 

Build/execute thorough test plans ensuring development meets requirements

  • Test plans to consider positive and negative scenarios
  • Understand the end-to-end transaction, upstream and downstream impacts

 

Communicate to technical and business stakeholders

  • Clear on purpose, concise and factual

We're looking for someone with: 

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern technologies. 
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. 
  • Strong knowledge of back-end technologies including  .NET.
  • Experience working with AWS. 
  • Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL.

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software quality. 
  • Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments. 
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
