As the Regional Sales Manager, NGL (Northeast) at Cengage, you will play a pivotal role in driving our ambitious sales goals and transforming educational experiences.
  • Recruits, coaches, and manages all Sales Representatives needed for successful sales campaigns to ensure goal achievement.
  • Works closely with each sales representative to build out and maintain territory plans, including identification of top targets/accounts and sales strategies.
  • Maintains frequent communication with sales representatives to focus on growing revenue through territory plan reviews and pipeline oversight.
  • Ensures team members accurately and consistently maintain their CRM to track adoptions and predict customer needs and create an accurate forecast.
  • Travels regularly to mentor and support team members and engage with customers.
  • Collaborates with VP, Sales to establish and implement sales territories, quotas, and performance metrics.
  • Continuously monitors key market trends and shares valuable insights with the region and leadership.

Skills You Will Need Here:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from a four-year college or university
  • 10+ years of successful consultative sales/business development experience with a proven track record.
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to sell online resources efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of the educational market and State Adoption processes.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.  Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.$88,600.00 - $115,200.00 USD
