Core Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating, and delivering projects related to manufacturing equipment and technologies.

- Support Engineering for Improvement projects and implementation of ECR's
- Preparation of business cases related to local projects - detailing timelines, investments/expenses, resources, and payback/justifications.
- Identifying/documenting operational control standards and testing equipment to assess conformance with engineering specifications
- Identify risks and deviations in introduction process
- Leading risks to project delivery and costs to maintain schedule, budget, and other targets of project scope.

The NPI and Engineering department exists to be the bridge between
Development and Packing Production for successful introduction and
sustainment of new technologies, products, and processes. We set and
maintain the pace, standard, and tone for introductions of products and
technologies within the production area. By collaborating with Production
departments, we strive to achieve and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
The Project Manager Specialist is responsible for overtaking equipment
knowledge and planning from R&D (both strategic and technical knowledge)
and implement the delivery of equipment/technology to the production facility.
This requires planning, ordering, vendor management, resource management,
and addressing obstacles in the way of reaching the project targets.
This results in a successful handshake of the equipment/technology to the
production group within the budget and timeline.
Do you have what it takes?
- Demonstrated experience in production equipment related project management with a bachelor's degree in technical field or additional experience in lieu of degree.
- Project management skills and experience (requirements and stakeholder definition, timeline creation and management, resource definition and management, procurement, technical know-how for competent understanding and input).
- Experience managing equipment installation projects.
- Ability to manage several smaller projects simultaneously with structured organization of work.
- Demonstrates advanced written, interpersonal, technical, quality, internal/external customer service, and/or application skills.
- Independently resolves most issues and complex matters, raising highly complex problems or out of guideline/policy in an accurate manner issues.
- Ability to work both administratively from a computer in addition to line-side support, as the business requires.
- Communication skills - resolve and convey accurate issues or project conflicts or resource requests.
- Prefer experience in manufacturing production environment.
- Packing and Packaging equipment experience is a plus.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, ACP) is preferred.
- Spanish is a plus.
Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $100,799.00 - $151,199.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
