Amplify is seeking qualified individuals to work as Study Coordinators for an exciting research project being conducted in local schools. The Study Coordinator will have the opportunity to support the research of a cutting edge math assessment, work with students in grades K-5 and/or 6-8, and collect high-quality data that will provide support for Amplify’s mathematics products and services as well as promote positive instructional outcomes for students. The ideal candidate for this position is prompt, reliable, and operates with a high standard of professionalism.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Complete a 1-2 hour asynchronous training to
- Discuss the scope of the project
- Learn about the logistical details for the coordination of the study onsite
- Attend a refresher training prior to middle and end of year benchmark windows, as needed
- Coordinate with school staff to administer the new Progress Monitoring math assessment and Star Math with fidelity for students grades K-5
- Coordinate with school staff to administer the new math assessment and Star Math with fidelity for students in grades 6-8
- Be prepared to administer mCLASS Math and Star Math
- Manage schedules and update daily logs of assessment administration
- Manage materials needed for data collection
- Manage opt-out consent forms
- Maintain consistent communication between the school site and the Amplify research team
Required Qualifications:
- English language proficiency
- Experience interacting with students in grades K-8
- Experience using technology, such as, iPads/tablets
- Experience using Google Drive apps, such as GoogleDocs and GoogleSheets
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Flexible and adaptable: work experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience effectively collaborating with colleagues to meet team goals
- Experience working in a school or educational setting with educators and parent interaction
- Work experience in designing, conducting, or collecting data for research studies
- Experience working in the educational field
Job Structure
- Part-time position (20-30 hours per week) for grades K-5
- Seasonal Part-time position (20-30 hours per week) for grades 6-8
- Expected to work during general school hours for grades K-5 and 6-8 (dependent on site)
- mCLASS Math assessments to be administered:
- mClass Math Progress Monitoring, on a weekly basis, to all K-5 students between BOY, MOY, and EOY research benchmark windows
- mClass Math Benchmark to all 6-8 students during BOY, MOY, and EOY research benchmark windows.
- Star Math will be administered to:
- All K-5 and 6-8 students during BOY, MOY, and EOY benchmark windows
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this role is $30.00.
