Description | The Operations Manager provides administrative support to the President and CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Board of Trustees, and general administrative support for the organization.

Key responsibilities include:
Plan, organize and support the work of the Board of Trustees and the One Schoolhouse administrative team. Work with vendors and venues on contracts, budgets, and travel for in-person board meetings. Develop a meeting schedule and organize all Board and Committee meetings. Draft agendas, track attendance, and prepare and distribute meeting materials. After meetings conclude, draft minutes for all meetings and gain approval from Chairs and the President and CEO. Communicate with board members to answer questions, schedule meetings and troubleshoot any issues with accessing documents/information. Maintain documentation for the board.Provide customer support to the One Schoolhouse community, including parents, students and school representatives. Ensure that all communications with schools and their key contacts are professional, timely, and strengthen the tie between One Schoolhouse and the entity.Support the work of the President & CEO, COO, and CFO. Assist in organizing and scheduling internal and external meetings. Keep track of staff birthdays, work anniversaries, and special moments, and help celebrate them within the organization. Help organize onboarding for new employees. Prepare meeting agendas, draft documents, and communications for staff and administrative team meetings.

Travel & Physical Requirements
The Operations Manager will be required to support on-site board meetings, staff meetings, and administrative team meetings. This position consists of traditional office work and thus a successful candidate should be able to work at a computer for long periods of time.

Either remote or in Washington, D.C.
Compensation PackageBenefits: Full-time employees are eligible to participate in the School’s 403(b) plan, health, vision and dental plans, and short-term and long-term disability insurance programs. Full-time employees are encouraged to use their twenty-four PTO days. In addition to annual PTO, the employee will have paid holidays in accordance with the School’s annual calendar.
