| Job Summary | Develops, oversees, and continuously enhances residency and fellowship programs by designing and refining curricula, managing program resources, and ensuring alignment with ACGME and institutional standards. Leads program administration by negotiating agreements, securing program funding, and resolving complex operational challenges. Provides strategic direction for resident management, and partners with departmental leadership and faculty to develop high‑quality educational, clinical, and scholarly initiatives that advance overall program excellence. |

| Minimum Qualifications |
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience). Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels:
Operations Program Manager, I: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) degree.
Operations Program Manager, II: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.
Operations Program Manager, III: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience. |
| Preferences | Should understand and advise the Program Director on ACGME specialty program requirements, strong organizational and adept problem-solving skills, project management experience, ability to mentor junior staff, and comprehensive grasp of program operations. Applicants should demonstrate potential to fulfill essential job functions as outlined in the position description. |
