Position Description 
Advertised Job Summary  | The Program Coordinator II serves as a key administrative and programmatic leader within the Office for the Study of Aging (OSA). This position is responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, evaluation, and promotion of statewide initiatives that advance research, education, and outreach related to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). The Coordinator provides strategic oversight for volunteer and trainer programs, facilitates partnerships among academic, community, and governmental stakeholders, and supports data-driven reporting and grant development efforts. The incumbent represents the OSA in statewide coalitions and collaborative efforts to address aging-related challenges, including social isolation and caregiver support, contributing to the mission of improving the quality of life for older adults and their families in South Carolina.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications  | Master’s degree and experience in health care and/or long-term care settings, knowledge of and experience working with individuals with dementia, and/or caregivers of older adults; knowledge of and experience working with data analysis systems such as SAS.
