Job Summary 
The Outbound Sales Marketing Specialist leads all ticketing sales and operations for UTA Athletics, driving revenue through strategic planning, outreach campaigns, and fan engagement initiatives. This role oversees ticketing systems, box office coordination, and CRM data analysis while collaborating with marketing, coaches, and campus partners. The position also manages student staff and represents the department at campus and community events.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $48,000 to $50,000. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
Lead all ticket sales efforts for UTA Athletics, including season tickets, mini plans, group sales, and single-game tickets for revenue-generating sports. Serve as the primary liaison to the College Park Center Box Office and oversee AXS ticketing operations, including inventory management, offer setup, pricing, event builds, CRM maintenance, performance tracking, and sales analysis. Develop and implement annual sales strategies, outreach campaigns, and revenue goals to drive growth and fan engagement. Design and execute group ticket packages and fan experience programs (FEPs) in coordination with coaches and game operations staff. Collaborate with marketing and external operations to build ticketing timelines, promotions, and themed events; represent UTA Athletics at community events and with campus and university partners. Recruit, train, and supervise student interns and ticket office assistants. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sports management, business, or a related field. One (1) year of experience in ticket sales, operations, customer service or any combination of the three.

Preferred Qualifications  | Three (3) years of experience in athletic sales with a Division I Intercollegiate or professional sport organization. One (1) or more years of supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  | Demonstrates strong creative abilities in generating innovative ideas and exploring alternative solutions to challenges. Excels in organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks effectively without constant supervision and meeting tight deadlines. Proven track record in sales. Ability to build quality relationships, meet goals, and maintain a professional demeanor. Possesses exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to lead teams, train staff, and deliver excellent customer service.
