JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Human Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to support our HR Records Management projects on the HR Compliance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data and documentation in a structured environment. The position involves handling sensitive HR records and ensuring accuracy and compliance in our document management processes. The successful candidate will work approximately 24 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
· Review and index HR records into document management system.
· Prepare physical files for scanning and ensure proper organization.
· Scan documents for indexing.
· Verify accuracy and completeness of digital and physical records.
· Assist with other records management tasks and projects as assigned.
The successful candidate must demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information; high attention to detail and accuracy; strong organizational skills and ability to follow established procedures; basic computer skills; experience with document management systems is a plus; ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Typically requires a high school diploma.
