Job Summary Support for the Ready to Work Program

This position will be based at the Warren County Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) Office with travel required to SKYCTC campuses and work study sites.

Job Duties:
The successful candidate will provide proactive case management for an eligible population of KTAP and SNAP clients transitioning into and attending SKYCTC along with the development and support of on campus and off campus work-study placements.

• Recruit Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Kentucky Temporary Assistance Program (KTAP) participants for the Ready to Work Program.
• Actively work with DCBS case workers and other DCBS contractors.
• Provide general guidance to students to help navigate SKYCTC/RTW resources such as academic support services, career services, financial management services
• Consult with students to aid and coordinate services with DCBS.
• Actively work with agencies and adult education providers in the community.
• Monitor time sheets for RTW participants.
• Work closely with Human Resources and payroll
• Create and distribute communications to targeted student audiences under general supervision
• Use of Microsoft Office for reporting and meeting virtually with students and other KCTCS staff, especially Teams, Outlook, and Excel.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with one year of related experience, or associate’s degree with 3 years of related experience; Able to work independently and in a team environment; Must exhibit professionalism, dependability, and be a self-starter.
