The opportunity
The Coordinator of the Office of Student Involvement is a part-time (20 hours per week) role responsible for ensuring a quality student experience for our online and campus student life. This position is located on our campus in Manchester, NH. You will provide engaged support to our special interest groups, plan limited evening and weekend programming for campus and online students, and help moderate the virtual student center platform. You will report to the Associate Director of Student Involvement.

What you'll do:
  • Assist with SNHUconnect community moderation to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. Elevate student voices and identify trending concerns.
  • Oversee, grow, and support online special interest groups, including creating resources and processes for group development.
  • Meet with special interest groups to answer questions, check in, and develop and share resources (such as guides or templates) to support group activities and programming
  • Post special interest group events and meetings to the online event calendar and create meeting and event links.
  • Coordinate first six weeks of fall campus programming with OSI team, specifically during dates and times not traditionally filled by clubs and departments.
  • Lead one monthly online event per month (with consideration for inclusive programming), specifically during dates and times not traditionally filled by clubs and departments.
  • Plan and coordinate campus-wide programs for high-risk dates. Examples include St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, etc.
  • Represent the department at Commencement, Open Houses, Accepted Students Days, and Orientations.
  • Support departmental programs and events, and institutional traditions such as commencement and related events
  • Provide virtual and in-person office and event coverage, including chaperoning off-campus trips, responding to emails and phone calls, webinars, and posting on SNHUconnect.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

What we are looking for:
  • 1+ year of relevant experience in roles involving communication, or community engagement (e.g., club leadership, volunteer work, social media/community management, customer or student-facing experience, or event planning) 
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends for major events 
  • Valid Driver's license 
  • Driver's license

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $23.23 - $37.16. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $25.66 - $34.72.
