JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics is seeking graduate student applicants for the part-time job of Teaching Assistant.   

Job duties to include: 

  • Serving as teaching assistant for ASTRO 497 during the Spring 2026 semester 

  • Serving as a resource for students, particularly on homework assignments 

  • Serving as a grader for homework assignments 

 

Schedule: 

  • Expected hours will be approximately 10 hours/week. 

 

The selected candidate will report to Dr. Abe Falcone. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
