JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Eberly College of Science, Department of Biology, is looking to hire Teaching Assistants (TA) to provide support to Biology courses overseen by the Teaching Faculty during the 2026-27 academic year. This position will be supervised by Carly Sjogren. The TA will help faculty organize coursework, explain biology concepts to students, and hold office hours and/or review sessions. Applications must be submitted electronically, and at a minimum must include the completed online application form. Preference will be given to full-time registered Penn State students who have successfully completed the course for which they will be assisting. BIOL110 Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and reviewed as the need arises.
