JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Marketing Department in the Smeal College of Business is seeking to hire a teaching assistant that can cover MKTG 437 Advance Retailing and Merchandise Management for fall 2026.

Job duties to include:

  • Grade papers and presentations
  • Track in-class engagement
  • Other administrative tasks related to the course

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

  • Academic integrity and the ability to maintain student confidentiality is required
  • Candidates should have good communication and interpersonal skills, be reliable and organized, and have good time management skills
  • Ideal candidate would have completed MKTG 437 prior to this semester
  • Approximately 4-7 hours per week
