JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for one part-time teaching assistant to start in fall 2026. The successful candidates will assist Prof. Kitty Riley for up to 10 hours per week during the academic semester.

Job Duties:

  • Answering student questions
  • Hosting office hours
  • Grading assignments
  • Searching the business press for teaching materials
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled Penn State student
  • Successful completion of MIS 431 at Penn State or a similar course at a comparable institution

Compensation:

Starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
