JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for three part-time teaching assistants to start August 2026. The successful candidates will assist Dr. Ferdi Eruysal for up to 20 hours per week during the academic semester.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with grading assignments to provide timely and accurate feedback
  • Hold regular office hours to support students with questions on course content and assignments
  • Support students in using software tools (e.g., RapidMiner) required for the course

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of MIS 441 at Penn State or similar institution

Compensation:

Starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
