WHAT IS THE POSITION 
The Partnership Development Representative (PDR) works closely with the Field Sales Teams (FGM/FNBM) to meet departmental goals. A PDR is focused on lead generation, lead qualification, and identifying qualified handoffs to the Field Sales team vs. those to work to conclusion. In this role, you will be engaging in intro and exploratory conversations - both via email and by phone.  The PDR is responsible for managing a defined geographic territory and exceeding individual goals. This position encompasses solution-based sales into the K-12 market and will be responsible for customer needs and increasing overall market share in assigned territory.  Manage the complete sales cycle for designated opportunities using the Edmentum sales approach to structure custom solutions. Leverage the entire Edmentum product and services portfolio to meet customer needs. The PDR will work with about 85% outbound and 15% inbound leads.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 
  • Targeted outbound demand generation 
  • Execute on various outbound lead generation campaigns via email & calling  
  • Engage and qualify responses  
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Field Sales team  
  • Help promote various events and follow-up to qualify registrations  
  • Assist and follow up on designated marketing-driven and regional campaigns, including consistent campaign reporting      
  • Achieve Key performance indicators.  
  • Be a thought leader to create new strategies as the cloud industry evolves.  
  • Lead qualification and handoff process to Sales  
  • Can handle closing smaller Accounts and Opportunities with deal size < $15k  
  • Manage trial requests, provide support, and convert trials to a full implementation 
  • Run virtual meetings, including program demonstrations of all Edmentum solutions at an Outcome-Focused level 
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to maintain accurate records, logging interactions, and activities as you engage with prospects and customers  
  • Data cleanup, reporting, and analysis  
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, our product offerings, and best practices to refine outreach tactics 
  • Maintain an “Educator First” mindset in all that you do 
  • Demonstrate the value of Edmentum’s programs and professional services  
  • Work cross-functionally

  • General computer knowledge/experience with an understanding of basic technology components. 
  • Must possess attributes necessary to master consultative sales skills and the ability to translate customer needs into Edmentum solutions. 
  • Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Travel within the assigned territory

Pay range for this role: 
$55,000—$70,000 USD

Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
