Applied Epic Training & Content Specialist – Property & Casualty
Location: Remote (Travel as Needed)
Overview
Join Alera Group's Transformation Office and help shape the future of how our Property & Casualty teams work. As a P&C Content Designer, you'll create the training materials, process documentation, and user resources that support our enterprise platforms and business processes. Your work will help colleagues confidently adopt new systems, standardize workflows, and drive successful transformation across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain training materials, user guides, job aids, and quick reference resources for Applied Epic and other P&C platforms.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and workflow documentation that support enterprise business processes.
- Translate complex system functionality into clear, user-friendly content for diverse audiences.
- Partner with subject matter experts, business leaders, and configuration teams to document new processes and system updates.
- Support system implementations, conversions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain the enterprise learning library and ensure content remains accurate, current, and aligned with organizational standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
What You'll Bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of content development, technical writing, instructional design, or related experience
- 3+ years delivering technical or business systems training
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance operations
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Experience creating documentation and learning materials using Microsoft Office and other learning technologies
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand content
Preferred
- Experience supporting Applied Epic implementations or enterprise system transformations
- Experience developing SOPs, workflow documentation, and process maps
- Knowledge of change management and user adoption best practices
Compensation
$60.00 to $75.00 an hour

Work Environment
This is a full-time, exempt position with occasional travel to Alera Group offices as needed. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for creating content that helps colleagues succeed through change.
