About the role
We are seeking detail-oriented and tech-savvy Platforms and LMS Specialist to join our team. This role is instrumental in managing and enhancing our learning management systems (LMS) and digital platforms to deliver exceptional educational experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in staging content, a solid understanding of Evolve and Intellum, and preferably, familiarity with Clixie or similar interactive content tools.

In this role, you will:
•Collaborate with instructional designers, trainers, and other stakeholders to stage and organize content effectively within the LMS.
•Ensure that all content is accurately configured, tested, and optimized for user engagement and accessibility.
•Monitor and update course materials to reflect on the latest changes and enhancements.
•Managing the day-to-day operations of the LMS, including user account management, enrollment, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
•Implement and configure features in Evolve and Intellum to meet organizational needs.
•Generate reports and analytics to measure performance, learner progress, and engagement.
•Identify opportunities for improving the LMS user experience, workflows, and functionality.
•Collaborate with the IT team and platform vendors to resolve technical issues and implement updates.
•Stay up to date with LMS advancements and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
•Utilize Clixie or similar tools to create engaging, interactive multimedia content.
•Work with subject matter experts to design and implement interactive elements that enhance learning outcomes.

What you must have to be considered:
•Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
•Proficiency in LMS platforms, with specific experience in Evolve or Intellum.
•Demonstrated expertise in staging content and managing digital learning environments.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
•Exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

This will help you stand out:
•Experience with Clixie or similar interactive content development tools.
•Knowledge of SCORM, xAPL or other e-learning standards

Salary and other Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is between $73,000.00 - $86,000.00, depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s appliable plans.
