This role involves working closely with the preschool teacher to plan and manage a classroom of children aged two months to five years, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment while assuming lead responsibilities during the teacher's absence.

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children aged two months to five years.
Assist in planning and managing classroom activities under the preschool teacher's guidance.
Assume lead role with children when the preschool teacher is engaged with students, parents, or faculty.
Monitor and document activities for practicum students; supervise interns and substitute teachers.
Communicate daily reports on children’s activities and behavior to parents.
Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment encouraging creativity and curiosity.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with two years childcare experience or an associate's degree with some childcare experience.
Preferred qualification is a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM.
