Job Summary

Do you want to shape the way leading wireless communication companies develop their systems using MATLAB and Simulink? Join a multidisciplinary team of worldwide experts and help solve technical and business challenges for our customers.

In this pre-sales, product specialist role, you will leverage your expertise to demonstrate the benefits of MathWorks tools for digital communication systems engineering. You’ll work with customers developing cutting-edge wireless technologies, including cellular and satellite communications. Success in this role depends on your ability to build trusted relationships, communicate effectively, and continuously improve.

This position is based in Santa Clara, CA. Expect to travel 20-30% of the time, mostly on the US West Coast.

Responsibilities
The wireless communications specialist AE will use his/her technical knowledge and presentation skills in activities that directly and indirectly boost product sales. These activities include:

Customer Engagement: Work directly with customers in Semiconductors, Communications, Aerospace, and Defense industries to improve development processes using MathWorks wireless solutions.
Technical Demonstrations: Develop proof-of-concept models and workflows using MATLAB, Simulink, and toolboxes such as 5G Toolbox, Satellite Communications Toolbox, and WLAN Toolbox, and demonstrate these to customers.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.

5+ years of experience in digital baseband communications (modem design, LTE, 5G, SatCom, MilCom, etc.)
