About the OpportunityEllucian Company, LLC has an opening for a full-time Principal Banner Student Consultant in Reston, VA (Remote/telecommuting benefits available).
Duties are to prepare for and deliver high quality services with a willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies that evolve as technology and implementation methodology mature. Bridge the gap between the functional and technical aspects of Ellucian solutions and client's business objectives. Lead customers to embrace performance improvement, transformation and modernization and remediate issues that impede enabling customer greatness, executing all activities with precision and professionalism to ensure successful SaaS implementations. Collaborates with various Professional Services teammates on process improvement, use and maintenance of services artifacts and the maturation and promotion of recommended practices. Communicate effectively and credibly with relevant team, stakeholders, and project leaders both internally and externally, for the execution of day-to-day operations through to those at the managerial and executive levels. Support and demonstrate company values.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related field. Higher degree accepted but not a minimum requirement. Plus 5 years experience in in job offered or experience in Banner implementation and deployment. Experience must include 5 years working in a consulting services environment in higher education and 2 years in enabling delivery readiness, problem solving and root cause analysis, managing activities based on business impact and time constraints and with consortium or system-wide models, California. Texas, Florida or New York state higher education regulations.
