Job Summary | The Processing Center Specialist is responsible for processing prospect, applicant, student and related documents as a team member of the enrollment services processing unit. Responsible for process management of assigned system production jobs. Communicates with students and stakeholders to resolve issues and to provide information. Performs activities that ensure quality control. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, information technology, liberal arts or related fields.
• One (1) year of experience with student records processing and maintenance in a higher education setting.
• Related work experience maybe substituted for education requirement. One (1) year of related work experience can be substituted for one (1) year of education. For example, a candidate with a high school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent and five (5) years of related work experience can be eligible to apply.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience with document management system, i.e. OnBase.
• Experience with enterprise-level student administration system, i.e. PeopleSoft
• Experience with CRM and application administration system, i.e. SLATE
• Experience with financial aid regulation compliance and ¬working with financial aid applicants.
• Knowledge of transfer credit evaluation practices.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) • Knowledge of international education systems and transfer credit evaluation practices.
• Ability to understand and adhere to federal regulatory compliance requirements for loan eligibility and awarding. Ability to develop and remain current with the knowledge and skills required to perform the full range of enrollment services processing tasks related to admissions, financial aid, and registrar functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all student populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to utilize a variety of computer software programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
