The Product Manager is responsible for shaping and implementing the product vision, product strategy, product design, and the delivery of customer centric solutions. The product manager provides strategic analysis and execution in the areas of product development, business development, and project management. Additional job responsibilities include:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Build the roadmap for developing and launching products or a series of products, lead execution of components of the vision, and align stakeholders around it
  • Collaborate with internal team of UX Designers, Content Developers and Software Developers to concept, prototype, design, and test products; conduct project planning and mapping
  • Gather market research to deeply understand the needs of the buyers and users of the product
  • Develop and implement marketing strategy for new products
  • Create, develop and drive the launch strategy and implementation for new products. Manage pilot rollout of new products as well as operational rollout
  • Lead the gathering of feedback from stakeholders and end users to develop product positioning and formulate product value propositions
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience to identify product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience
  • Translate defined product strategies into detailed requirements and prototypes, incorporating collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic achievement
  • 5+ years in product management in the education sector or relevant work experience in consulting or development
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies preferred
  • Strong quantitative data analytical skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Demonstrated project management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive collaborative work
  • Passion for education and meaningful social impact
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Strong presentation and group facilitation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written/visual and oral communication skills
  • Experience with learning management systems, integrations, and/or rostering is a plus
