The Wiley Audience Solutions Team is responsible for developing online solutions for corporations across a wide range of industries, including life sciences, physical sciences, engineering, security, and automation to engage with Wiley's scientific community. Solutions include online advertising, virtual events, educational websites, and communication solutions, all based on the reach and authority of Wiley's scientific journal portfolio.
We are further expanding our Science and industry portfolio and are recruiting a Marketing Manager to help us scale up the offering in different verticals. As a member of the Product Marketing Team, you will work closely with Product Management, Field Marketing and Sales to explore and develop GTM strategies for new verticals. From assessing the market’s needs, defining the value of our offering, driving product awareness to ultimately generating demand. You’ll also execute go-to-market plans for existing product initiatives - including the development of product materials, sales enablement tools and training.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work independently, learn quickly, be highly organized and have attention to details. The ideal candidate is a reliable, multi-tasking and a results-driven team player with excellent communication skills (in person and in writing) all wrapped up with a good dose of humility.
How you will make an impact:
This role requires a professional with in-depth knowledge and experience in product marketing preferably in the sciences and/or engineering. The role involves decision-making and strategy implementation while contributing to the overarching marketing objectives and goals of the department. This is a cross-collaboration role focused to but not limited to:
- Go-to-Market for Products and key Verticals.
- Market Insights & Voice of Customer
- Sales Training & Enablement
- Business Alignment & Collaboration
What we look for:
- Proven track record in sales and B2B marketing
- Understanding of the global publishing market and needs of our customers.
- Background in Science and/or engineering
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills in English
- Ability to articulate complex information through simple words or visuals.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills: ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional team members.
- Good business acumen and an ability to keep focused on achieving KPIs.
