Position Summary 
As an active member of the team supporting the Office of Student Success, this position will be involved in student programming and service assessment, communication, and collaboration across student and campus stakeholder communities This position will primarily focus on creating, implementing, and assessing programming and other diverse opportunities for student and campus partner engagement. Working closely with colleagues in the Office of Student Success, the Program Administrator will ensure all activities and project components are in place to drive student success initiatives, especially for populations that could benefit most from an increased sense of community and belonging at the university. This position will support the implementation of strategic processes and initiatives designed to foster student success while fully supporting the mission, vision, and values of New York University. The position will play an important role in supporting the University’s retention and graduation goals. 

Qualifications 
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related area

Required Experience:
1+ years related experience in enrollment management, alumni relations, student affairs, and/or student success-related areas in a higher education environment administering programs and/or services to college students, including planning and implementing social and educational programs, creating new student programs and initiatives, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Experience:
1+ years experience creating, implementing and assessing opportunities or student and alumni engagement in a higher education setting

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proven ability to execute programs at a high level, successfully manage details independently and work within predetermined timelines. Ability to work within complex organizations to achieve outcomes. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships and communicate with diverse populations and stakeholders. High level of proficiency with Excel. Strong attention to detail. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet key stakeholders’ needs. Able to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong project management skills. Excellent written, and oral communication skills. Ability to work effectively to a wide range of audiences including students and their families, alumni, advisors, faculty and other administrators

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Broad understanding of student services (academic and co-curricular) in a higher education setting; Experience developing and executing interventions for students that address curricular, career, and/or social barriers to student success and engagement; General knowledge of the range of student development and retention theories; An understanding of promising practices in one or more of the following areas: student success and retention, student engagement, student-alumni mentorship, student transition and development, behavioral science, and community and belonging in order positively affect key goals and outcomes

Additional Information 
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $58,500.00 to USD $89,000.00.
