Job Summary  | The responsibilities of the Program Advisor in the Office of Civic Engagement include: Providing Basic Needs and Trojan Pantry support to include sustaining monetary and financial donations, overseeing pantry operations, managing food ordering and inventory, managing external partners, and increased case management for students experiencing financial challenges Assisting with supervision and training of student employees Coordinating communication and day to day engagement activities, making decisions regarding changes under coordinator’s oversight Managing civic engagement calendar, reservations, and communicating with partners in planning activities Assisting with budget management, overseeing inventory and purchasing necessary items for activities Assisting with grant oversight to include researching, writing, purchasing, and implementation

Minimum Qualifications 
1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Good organizational skills
4. Excellent relationship building and networking skills
5. Strong computer skills
6. Budgetary understanding

Preferred Qualifications 
1. Master’s Degree
2. Experience working with nonprofits or community building
3. Grant writing experience
