I. DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
Job Description Summary: | The Program Associate provides comprehensive operational, academic, and program support to the Counseling and Human Development (CHD) programs within the Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD). This position serves as the primary liaison among students, faculty, program directors, and university offices, ensuring effective coordination of academic advising, course scheduling, faculty support, and accreditation processes across multiple program locations and delivery formats.
The Program Associate supports the Department Chair in administrative matters, oversees the day to-day operations of the CHD master’s, specialist, doctoral, and post-master’s programs, manages communications and data processes to support student success, and ensures alignment with institutional and accreditation requirements.
Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
