 I. JOB OVERVIEW 
Job Description Summary:  | Housed within the George Washington University’s College of Professional Studies (CPS), RevU is the College’s new Lifelong and Executive Learning platform that provides educational offerings from executive education to industry certifications and upskilling and re-skilling opportunities. The GW RevU Team further oversees the college’s established executive education partnerships and programs with Latin American and Spanish partners and universities. Programs include various formats from on-campus for credit programs, to hybrid/online non-credit offerings. GW RevU is seeking a full-time Program Associate, Executive and Lifelong Learning.

The Program Associate will enhance the academic experience for students and faculty of the various GW RevU, Executive Education and Partner Programs (several taught online in Spanish). The Program Associate reports to the Director of Executive and Lifelong Learning and closely collaborates with the Program Manager of Executive Education and Academic Partnerships.

Position Summary
Program Associate, Executive and Lifelong Learning, provides program coordination for academic programs and initiatives. The Program Associate is a point of contact for learners in assigned RevU programs and is responsible for ensuring smooth communication, efficient operations, and a positive learner experience. The position assists with admissions, registration, advising, marketing, data management, and event coordination to uphold RevU’s commitment to excellence in digital learning. The Program Associate will coordinate with the Finance, Admissions, Marketing, and Student Services teams within CPS and other relevant offices across the University.

Student Support & Advising Serve as the main contact for learners, facilitating clear communication and resolution of common student-related issues. Manage onboarding for new students and support their transition into RevU programs. Counsel students on university programs, policies, and procedures. Handle special requests and provide guidance on academic progress and program requirements. Use AI-based tools that provide basic advising and learner support. Escalate complex issues to the Director or the appropriate University office.
Admissions & Recruitment Support the GW RevU admissions process by assisting in recruitment and tracking of non-degree and executive education applicant progress. Respond to applicant inquiries, resolve issues, and follow up on incomplete applications. Run reports and provide admissions data; provide detailed statistics to the RevU stakeholders. Coordinate and monitor marketing services related to recruitment and applicant engagement for non-degree and executive education programs. Represent GW RevU at recruitment events and conferences. Partner with CPS marketing & communications team and the recruitment & admissions team on relevant College-wide activities.
Academic Administration Oversee GW RevU registration and ensure accurate student records in Slate and Accredible. Escalate issues as needed. Monitor student academic progress and coordinate with program managers and partners on learning record requests. Coordinate the management of RevU’s digital badging system, ensuring the timely issuance of badges and related materials. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in student records, transcripts, and files.
Events & Engagement Plan, coordinate, and execute GW RevU events, including seminars, workshops, and student engagement activities. Maintain a strategic calendar of events in collaboration with team members. Collaborate on orientation, graduation, and other student service-related events.
Budget Support & Operations Assist with financial reporting. Process payments and ensure accurate recordkeeping. Collaborate with the team to enhance performance metrics, data tracking, and website content accuracy.
Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement May recommend policy and procedural updates to enhance program quality and operational efficiency. Support evaluation efforts through course observation and tracking of student performance. Provide insights and recommendations for program improvement and learner experience enhancement.

Other Duties
May be expected to perform additional responsibilities to support GW RevU operations and the success of learners. Duties may evolve based on program needs and institutional priorities. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

This position has the possibility to be hybrid, with some days in-person in the main Foggy Bottom campus in Washington, DC, and some days remote. A full-time, on-campus space is possible.

Minimum Qualifications:  | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:  | To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will bring a blend of the following strengths and experiences: Written and spoken Spanish fluency is highly desired. Strong interest in working with adult learners is highly desired. Superior customer service, attention to detail, strong organization skills, excellent writing and verbal communication skills are highly desired. Advanced skills MS Office 360, Google Workspace, and other common business software/apps. Experience in a higher education environment, particularly program management. Skills in and/or willingness to learn project management. Experience in sales/recruitment, marketing, or outreach. Experience with Digital badging platforms (e.g. Accredible). Familiarity with CRM databases and application software (e.g. Slate, Salesforce, Target X), and online educational platforms (e.g., Blackboard) is highly preferred.
