Job Summary/Basic Function: | Program Coordinator is responsible for providing planning and administrative support for Professional Psychology within the College of Health, Education, and Human Services related to the needs of their doctoral program.
Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 or more years of related work experience or Associate’s degree with four years of work related experience.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with Microsoft Word, and Excel as well as database management.
Preferred Qualifications | Experience with website maintenance, social media platforms.
Ability to multitask in busy office environment.
Essential Functions and percent of time: | Provide support for unit’s activities and programs including submitting required documentation to Curriculog for program curriculum approvals and coordinating planning efforts for events such as graduation, convocation, etc. Conduct degree audits and work with licensure and/or certification agencies to confirm student eligibility to sit for exams. Work with clinical sites to ensure required documentation is completed for student field experiences and CHEH administration to ensure scholarships are awarded as directed by site agreements. Maintain student database(s) as appropriate. Attend on-campus and off-campus as well as virtual college fair events to promote programs.
(60%)Assist with design and distribution of program course guides, marketing materials and promotional items. Create, maintain and update program websites. Coordinate with faculty, advisors and administrators to determine cohorts and start dates. Submit course schedules to the registrar’s office according to current policies and procedures. Maintain and update programs of study for students and distributing as appropriate. Assist program directors with accreditation reports.
(15%)Hire and supervise graduate assistant(s) and/or student employees for administrative support of the assigned program. Manage the workflow for curriculum through the University system for assigned program.
(10%)Manage program expenses while utilizing university systems for purchases and reimbursements. Verify enrollment numbers for billing roster from partnering organizations.
(10%)Perform other duties as assigned.
