Job Description | The IVMF is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to serve as a Program Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Engagement on the Entrepreneurship & Small Business (ESB) team. This position will focus exclusively on national outreach and engagement efforts to increase awareness, interest, and enrollment in IVMF’s suite of 12 entrepreneurship programs. Responsibilities include coordinating and implementing recruitment campaigns, hosting virtual info sessions, responding to prospective applicants, managing lead data in Salesforce, cultivating referral relationships with alumni and partners, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our recruitment and engagement strategies. This role is essential in helping the IVMF reach and serve military-connected entrepreneurs.
Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum two (2) years of experience in outreach, admissions, customer service, communications, or nonprofit engagement. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred). Experience working with or for military-connected populations is a plus. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Comfortable with public speaking, virtual facilitation, and high-volume communications.
Skills and Knowledge | Knowledge of recruitment strategies and digital outreach tools. Ability to review data reports and identify areas for process improvement. Familiarity with entrepreneurship and small business ecosystems preferred. Experience in working with diverse audiences across cultural, geographic, or demographic lines. Preference given to those with a military service connection, or who have worked with veteran, military, and/or family stakeholders, universities or think-tanks, and familiarity with related government programs and services for veterans, families, and related civilian human services programs.
Responsibilities |
Recruitment Strategy & Execution Coordinate and implement multi-channel recruitment campaigns across all entrepreneurship programs. Develop and manage a master recruiting calendar. Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team to refine targeting. Maintain an internal recruitment toolkit and post-program pipeline follow-up processes.
Prospect Engagement & Follow-Up Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective applicants via email, phone, and social media. Coordinate with Enrollment team on applicant pipeline. Conduct eligibility screenings. Ensure timely, clear, and courteous communication that reflects IVMF’s values.
Pipeline & CRM Management Pull weekly pipeline reports, tag leads, and segment lists for follow-up campaigns. Maintain clean CRM dashboards and support internal tracking/reporting processes for program handoffs.
Referral & Partner Coordination Cultivate referral pipelines by working with alumni, community partners, and internal teams. Provide referral tracking and templates. Represent IVMF at selected external recruitment events.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement Submit monthly recruitment analytics reports. Recommend changes to outreach methods and application processes. Contribute to SOP development for recruiting and engagement.
