The role involves coordinating peer assisted learning programs, supporting special academic events, managing day-to-day administrative tasks, assisting with tutoring sessions logistics, and teaching a section of the Academic Success Strategies course.
Highlights
Coordinate the Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) program including service delivery, faculty outreach, hiring, training, and assessment.
Support coordination of special events such as First-Generation programs, Open Houses, and Welcome Week.
Manage daily administrative and operational functions for Tutoring and Academic Support Services (TASS) office.
Assist with logistics, communications, and scheduling for TASS academic support sessions.
Assist in coordinating the Academic Success Strategies (LAI 203) course and teach a course section.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Requires a bachelor’s degree and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred experience includes working in higher education and tutoring centers with supplemental instruction programs.
Salary range is $54,090 - $55,000 annually.
Position reports to the Assistant Director of Tutoring and Academic Support Services.
