Position Details
Advertising/Posting Title | Program Manager
Posting Summary | Provide program planning and project management for Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) credit and non-credit programs and courses, including online and on-campus programming. Work with PACE program team colleagues, faculty and instructional staff, and campus departments regarding feasibility, market research, course enrollments and assessment, budgeting and planning. Develop planning timelines, determine and schedule internal and external resources, and plan all aspects of instructional documentation, process and support. Oversee logistical coordination, program delivery, information flow and support services. Lead project teams for specific curricular initiatives. Work with faculty to develop/identify curricula; establish project scope, budget and timeline; work with marketing team on identifying the audience and marketing initiatives; and overall project management. General supervision received from Manager, Program Portfolio.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 2-4 years related experience to include working with professionals in academic program planning and administration in higher education setting, or equivalent combination. Effective project management, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required, Attention to detail required. Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Knowledge of marketing strategy and planning; experience with online learning technology, project management software (e.g. Smartsheet), and learning management systems (e.g. Brightspace); web tools and sales practices using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) required. Competency with data reporting, budgeting, and project management tools required. Competent in standard office software, including word processing, spreadsheet management, and email communication tools. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environment required.
Desirable Qualifications | Familiarity with the educational needs of adult learners is highly desirable. Understanding of principles of best practices related to online learning and teaching is highly desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range | $53,000 to $63,000

Special Conditions | A probationary period may be required, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
