| Job Description Summary: | The mission of The George Washington University’s School of Business (GWSB) is to be a preeminent business school recognized for scholarly research, teaching excellence, and innovative curricula, and it focuses on the responsible management of organizations in the global environment. In support of this mission, the purpose of this position is to provide strategic coordination and comprehensive program management on behalf of academic and research initiatives within GWSB. Operating under limited supervision from the Principal Investigator (PI) and exercising a significant degree of discretion and independent judgment, the Program Manager serves as the primary administrative authority and operational point of contact for the initiative. This role manages key stakeholder relationships, independently resolves high-level and complex inquiries from faculty, staff, external partners, and students, and provides comprehensive operational oversight. Key responsibilities include leading program evaluation and analysis, managing grant allocations and project expenditures, directing marketing and outreach efforts, and managing institutional compliance workflows (such as IRB interfaces). While this position does not have formal direct reports, the incumbent frequently schedules, trains, and functionally leads temporary staff, student workers, and project team members. Key Responsibilities:

This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment and salary levels are dependent on the renewal of specific contracts and the availability of sponsored funds. |

| Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |
