Job Summary
The Program Manager – AI Initiatives will serve as the primary operational lead for the FIPSE‑funded UTD/Uplift: Future Ready AI Collaborative project. This role drives key grant initiatives, ensures strategic plan milestones are achieved, and manages the project’s fast‑paced deadlines. The Program Manager functions as the central liaison connecting the UT Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM), the Department of Education, and all project partners.

Core responsibilities include financial oversight, task management, and full ownership of all grant‑mandated deliverables, positioning this role as a critical contributor to the success of a high‑visibility, future‑focused initiative.

Bachelor’s degree; Five to seven years experience in a field relevant to the program; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Financial Oversight: Monitor grant expenditures, manage budget allocations, and coordinate with the JSOM fiscal office to ensure financial integrity.
  • Deliverable Ownership: Author and compile annual performance reports, project‑specific metrics, and final strategic deliverables for the PI and federal agencies.

This position is jointly funded by UT Dallas and a Department of Education grant. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The initial appointment is through December 2029, with the possibility of renewal contingent upon continued funding and satisfactory performance.
