Program Manager for Military-connected Student Initiatives and Programming

The Program Manager for Military-connected Student Initiatives and Programming independently coordinates and administers the office’s extracurricular programs, including but not limited to, orientation programs, professional development/mentoring programs, high-impact practices, wellness programs, resources/internship/career fairs, student engagement and leadership activities, and special recognition/graduation programs.
Manages day-to-day oversight of the programming budget in accordance with university policies. Integrates student programming into overall departmental operations and strategic plans. Works with University Development and Alumni Relations for scholarships and programming.
Assists the university's Military & Veteran Student Wellness Committee chair with the operations of the committee including cross-functional faculty, staff, and Wexner Medical Center providers. Represents Military and Veterans Services (MVS) to the greater university community and Central Ohio during events and outreach.
Independently oversees the operations and use of five Student Veterans Lounges and coordinates with Student Life on Veteran's House programming. Manages department's webpage, social media platforms, newsletters, and merchandise. Routinely handles confidential data and sensitive matters, performs general student-facing customer support, acts as backup student manager, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 4 years of relevant experience required, ability to work primarily in-person on Columbus campus.
Desired:
Advanced degree in relevant field desirable. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
Additional Information:
The pay range for this job profile is $56,300 - $73,000. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
This position is primarily in-person on the Columbus Campus.
